May will end with a big bang as rockers Aerosmith arrive in Dubai.

Aerosmith has been around for over 35 years and is considered one of the biggest rock bands in the world. The bad boys from Boston have released as many as 14 albums and are a force to reckon with in the music world. Let us take a peek into their eventful journey.

Agreed, their debut album may not have been a breakthrough one, but it featured famous tracks including "Dream On" and "Mama Kin". As time went on, the boys began releasing noteworthy materials, thus strengthening their hold on the music world.

It wasn't until 1975 when Aerosmith released the album Toys in the Attic that the Americans realised they had a triumphant rock 'n' roll band. The album contained two songs which brought the group stupendous stardom – "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk this Way" reached the US Top 10 in a short time.

Their tryst with success did not end here. The boys continued to release studio albums, garnering diehard fans on the way. It was evident from the sellout shows that the band was not losing its rocky edge. They did not sit easy here. The boys wanted to go international and it was in 1989 when they released Pump that the band finally got international acclaim. The album featured three top 10 singles – "Janie's Got A Gun", "Love In An Elevator" and "What it Takes". The album sold 7 million copies and gave the band its first Grammy.

After the Pump tour and a break in between, the band came back with its most successful album to date: Get a Grip.

This record made its grand entry by becoming the No. 1 in the Billboard charts.

This album also gave them some of their biggest tracks to date including "Livin on the Edge", "Crazy", "Cryin" and "Amazing". You now you have the chance to see the legends right here in Dubai.
