Bay State VIPs lent a hand Thursday night at Avalon for a fund-raiser called ’Banned in Boston,’ a comedic musical revue held every year for Urban Improv. Gov. Deval Patrick and Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton were among those who helped out.
