First European dates in 8 Years

"Sunday's Aerosmith gig at the Beacon stands as the top concert to play a major hall in N.Y.C. this year. Seriously...Aerosmith built a heart-pounding concert: real, in-the-moment rock 'n' roll where nothing felt forced, panties were tossed and the wall between band and fans was shattered. This show sparkled from unwavering confidence."

–- New York Post review dated 5th December 2006. Taken from Aerosmith’s “Route Of All Evil” North American tour.

“Aerosmith prove why many deem them “America’s Greatest Rock Band”…whether it was born in the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s, Aerosmith seamlessly create a scrapbook of everything good rock was and, God willing, will always be.”

–- Kerrang magazine live review Sept 2006

Aerosmith – America’s Greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll Band – are set to return to Europe for the first time in 8 long years for a mammoth European tour. Fresh from a hugely successful US tour, Aerosmith are set to put on one of the greatest rock shows and spawn what will be the ultimate must see event of 2007.

For more than 30 years, Aerosmith has defined the essence of Rock & Roll. Even a brief overview of the group's remarkable career is truly mind-boggling: over 100 million albums sold, induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, countless awards (including four Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards, and 12 MTV Awards), and a fanatically loyal fan-base numbering in the millions worldwide. The members of Aerosmith -- Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer -- remain creatively vital and continue to set the platinum standard for artistic and commercial success in the music business. Over the past thirty years, Aerosmith has earned 95 gold, platinum and multi-platinum certifications from the RIAA for the group's albums, singles, and videos (the biggest ever tally for a USA act).

During this time they have inspired generations of artists and created some of the most important and best loved rock songs of all time. From early works such as “Dream On”, “Sweet Emotion”, “Toys In the Attic” and “Back In The Saddle”, through to the genre defining “Walk This Way” (Aerosmith featuring Run DMC), through to massive global hits such as “Janie’s Got A Gun”, “Cryin’”, “Dude Looks Like A lady”, “Love In An Elevator” and “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”.

Joe Perry - “It’s been way too long since we’ve played the UK and Europe. Some of the most unforgettable gigs in my life have been played to incredible European fans. You know, 8 years is a long time in the world of rock and roll. In some ways, these gigs will feel like the first time. So, let’s get together and see if it was as good for you as it was for us.”

The end of 2006 saw Aerosmith completing a massive North American tour of predominantly outdoor amphitheatres supported by Motley Crue. The sold out tour was lavished with praise by critics and audiences alike.

For the tour Aerosmith thrust themselves into the middle of the audience, turning the seats along the 70-foot-long ramp into one big front row experience that enabled fans to get up close and personal with rock’s quintessential live act.

Steven Tyler - "I always look forward to touring across the pond because life's a pisser when European."

The European tour will be pre-empted by select dates in Dubai and India. The full May/June/July 2007 dates are as follows:

Aerosmith tour fresh off the back of the release of “The Very Best Of...” album in late 2006. Featuring two brand new songs – “Sedona Sunrise” and “Devil’s Got A New Disguise” - the definitive collection brings together all the anthemic early Aerosmith chart-toppers recorded for Columbia Records, like “Dream On”, “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way”, to the bands Geffen years, such as huge singles “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)”, “Love In An Elevator”, “Livin’ On the Edge”, “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”, “Cryin’” and “Janies’s Got A Gun”. With no radio single or video, the record has already sold in excess of 250,000 copies in the UK – evidence of Aerosmith’s lasting appeal as America Greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll Band.

Aero Force One (AF1), the band's official fan club, will offer exclusive VIP ticketing packages to create the ultimate concert experience. Visit www.aeroforceone.com for details.

Aerosmith are currently working on a new studio album.
