Celebs Jet to Foxboro for Pats win
" The stargazing was the second-best sport at Gillette Stadium yesterday, with a minigalaxy of celebrity pigskin fans root, root, rooting for the Pats, who advanced to the divisional round of the playoffs by manhandling Chad Pennington [stats] and the Jets and scoring a 37-16 win yesterday.
New York mogul Donald Trump was in the house with his bride, Melania, cheering on the Pats. Well! He was in owner and pal Robert Kraft’s box, what did you expect, a J-E-T-S cheer???
Also schmoozing with the Kraft fam was CBS prez Les Moonves, who was seated next to Robert for most of the action. The proud parents of QB/QT Tom Brady [stats], Tom Brady Sr. and wife Galynn, were pulling for their son’s team from Bank of America’s box, alongside the bank’s CEO, Chad Gifford. Aerosmith ax man - and big Pats fan - Joe Perry was rocking out to “Walk This Way” on the sidelines before the game as the band’s big hit blared from the stadium speakers. Joe’s bandmate Tom Hamilton was also in da house, as was Godsmack’s main man Sully Erna, who took in the action from car czar Ernie Boch’s box. “Yes, Dear” funnyman Mike O’Malley, a New Hampshire homey, was in Foxboro for the big win, along with Procter & Gamble CEO Alan G. Lafley."
