Ironically, all three artists were favorites of mine over 20 years ago and they are still going strong today. Either way, it was a fitting way to end 2006 with a bang and make me look forward to another 12 months of music in 2007."

Proving once and for all that it is one of the finest American bands ever, the 'Smith ripped through a setlist that left those repetitive power ballads behind and concentrated on the quintet's finer blues 'n' metal moments. The show was a master class in, well, class for all those wannabees out there."
