Pops, Aerosmith members in Independence Day concert

The Boston Pops and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler shared the stage at the annual Fourth of July concert and fireworks display before about half a million spectators.
Tyler -- appearing with guitarist Joe Perry -- sang Aerosmith standards including their hit "Dream On." Tyler danced with Pops conductor Keith Lockhart during "Walk This Way."
Tyler took the stage for the nationally televised part of the show at the Hatch Shell after Lockhart and the Pops played the 1812 Overture, complete with ceremonial cannon fire from the Massachusetts National Guard.
Boston began its Fourth of July celebration with a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Old State House.
The USS Constitution made its annual turnaround cruise through the Boston Harbor and held a ceremony swearing in new citizens.
