News and Scenes from the Road
Aero Force One

"Hi Everyone!
Since the guys are laying low this month while Steven continues to recover from his surgery, I thought I would go through a bunch of pictures I took that didn't make the NFTR for lack of space. Some of them you may have seen. I hope you like them.
On the news front:
If you don't own a copy of the movie "This Thing Of Ours" go out and get it. The movie has tons of Aero ties. Brad and his son are both in it. Joe wrote a ton of music that is in the film.
Steven and Joe appear in the Porch Ghouls video that is included with the movie. Their segment was filmed at Joe's house in Massachusetts. Also in the video and film is Frank Vincent who is best known for playing Phil Leotardo on The Sopranos. Frank also introduced Aerosmith at one of their Madison Square Garden shows. Jack Douglas produced all the music in the film. Jack as you all know had his hand in producing some of the greatest music Aerosmith has ever put out including the most recent studio album "Honkin' on Bobo"! It is a must for any die hard Aerosmith fan.
Joe and his sons Tony and Roman recently did a photo shoot in NYC. Their photo will be in an upcoming Father's Day issue of Best Life magazine. Be sure to check it out! I got to check out a great Boston band "Dropkick Murphys" at Avalon Club across from Fenway Park last month. This band sold out the 2000 seat club for 5 straight days. What bit of info does this have to do with Aerosmith? Well, back in 1996 when the band was getting ready to go on their first tour.
The drummer's cymbals were all cracked and broken. He couldn't afford to buy any cymbals or sticks at the time. I mentioned this to Joey and he gave him all brand new cymbals and twigs. 10 years later this band is still going strong and playing in front of thousands of fans across the world. Speaking of Fenway, the Sox are back and kicking ass! I went to opening day this week and the atmosphere at that old bandbox was amazing. I pictured what it would be like seeing a band at that park.
The Stones and Bruce have played there and this year Dave Matthews will.
See you at the Beach!
