Steven to have surgery
AEROSMITH have been forced to cancel the remaining dates on the fifth leg of their "Rockin' the Joint" sold-out North American tour (which has been ongoing since October 2005) in order for lead singer Steven Tyler to have surgery. Despite AEROSMITH's desire to keep the tour going as long as possible, Tyler's doctors advised him not to continue performing to give his voice time to recover. Tyler will be on total vocal rest and can not perform for an extended period of time. AEROSMITH — Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer — apologize and regret any inconvenience to their fans. The band is now on hiatus but look forward to being back in the saddle with a new album and new tour dates.
AEROSMITH's latest release is the concert set "Rockin' The Joint (Live At The Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas)", which was recorded at a January 2002 show.
It's available on both CD and DVD.
AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry said that the band hopes to start working on a new album in the spring. It will be their first studio project since 2004's "Honkin' On Bobo".

I am so worried about my Dad Steven and so are my sister's. When we got home we went to my dad's house and the doctor's were there. we sat there for a while and he tried to sing but he couldn't the mpst difficult thing was for him to scream. His throat hurt so bad that he had tears in his eyes. That morning in New York. I went for an interview with the band but not my dad. Joe Perry And I had tears in our eyes. I walked off because I could not handle it. Anymore and I went back to his house and came in crying and he held me in his arms. So i spend the night there and helped him out. Even though he did not need it. I still wanted to help him because he is my dad you know. Well got to go Bye-Bye.

Hi , i wanna wish Steven the best . I hope he'll get's his voice back soon .
Me and my daughters Tessa and Jaimy wish you all the best . My youngest Jaimy is 5 years old and she can sing almost every song of you . We live in Belgium ( Europe ) so it's wonderfull that she can do this on this age while she's speaks dutch . She is a big fan of Steven . How it comes , i don't know
There must be something in his voice that make's him that specially for her . She wan't too be a rocksinger and play the guitar ( she's lefthanded ) so i gues maybe that's some problem .
My daughter Tessa play's the harmonica
Maybe i putt some words wrong but i can speak and sing better your language then write . I hope one day Aerosmith come too Belgium or the Netherlands . I wish my Jaimy get's the chance too see them one day .
Well Liv , i've you are the real Liv , I will pray for your dad , whe love him . I can imaging that you'll all worried . I would too if it wass my dad . I wish you all the best . STeven get better , so you can sing soon for my Jaimy . She ask almost every day how you are . Whe all want you too feel better . Think about this Liv , your dad makes many of us happy , even a child from 5 years . Can you imaging ? His voice must be a miracle . Jaimy almost died when she was born . At that time they played at mtv I don't wanna miss a thing . This was the first song she have ever heard and i singed it while i was helding her . It became her sleepingsong . Maybe that's the reason why she's so crazy about your dad ?
Well she made it , she's healhty and lovely just as my Tessa .
The end : WE LOVE YOU STEVEN !!!!
