Tour pushed back

Since Joe Perry publically has spilled the beans today on the radio, now AeroFANatic can announce:
The official start to the Aerosmith fall tour has been pushed back till AT LEAST NOVEMBER 1st. This date is not definite, but a ballpark figure. How this affects the release of "Rockin The Joint" I do not yet know. But knowing Sony like I do, they may try to time the CD and the tour for the Holidays. A November release of the DVD / CD makes alot of marketing sense because it would be a great holiday seller. We'll see how this goes.
As for the tour, NO OPENING ACT has been decided on yet. There have been some solid discussions about numerous acts, but nothing yet set in stone. Also with a later starting date, this could actually HELP the band as The Stones and U2's tours end in December so the market wont be as "saturated" for the early '06 part of the Rockin The Joint tour. We'll see how this all gels.
