Mount Blue Summer Party And Auction

(Mount Blue opened in the summer of 1997, as a collaboration
of four partners - Joe Perry & Steven Tyler of Aerosmith;
Lee Kennedy of Lee Kennedy Construction Company; and
Jayne Bowe, restaurant operator from Boston. All four are
residents of the South Shore area of Boston.)
Duxbury Bay Maritime School is this year's non-profit beneficiary of the 9th annual Mount Blue summer garden party and auction hosted by Mount Blue restaurant, Norwell, on Monday, July 25, 6 to 9 p.m. The party and auction are being held under a tent on the grounds at Mt. Blue.
Corporate sponsors include Boston Private Bank of Boston and Anchor Press of Norwell. Mount Blue restaurant and its vendors are donating an assortment of food and beverages. Three local bands, the Joe Leary Band, the Chris Fitz Band, and Ryan Fardy Shades of Blue, will provide entertainment for the evening.
A live and silent auction highlights the event. Featured live auction items are Aerosmith memorabilia, four box seat tickets to the Rolling Stones concert at Fenway Park, and a kayak, life vest, paddle and lesson package from Eastern Mountain Sports. The silent auction will run throughout the night. Special items up for grabs are Red Sox tickets....
.....Reservations may be made in person at DBMS, 457 Washington St., Duxbury, or at Mt. Blue. Cost is $50 per person to reserve a space on the guest list.
