"Contribution Safe T", the new T-shirt by luxe fashion designer Jeffrey Grubb and rock icon Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, is now on sale.
The hip psychedelic tee is available exclusively at Bloomingdale's Soho, 59th Street, and on www.DIFFA.org. Twenty percent of all the proceeds of the tees will benefit the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA).
The "Contribution T" program teams apparel designers and consumer companies up with non-profit agencies for one season or for the life of the garment or item. The participating designer or manufacturer donates a percentage of the proceeds generated from the sale of either a key item from their collection or a custom created eclectic piece. This approach to fund-raising was designed to mobilize and bridge the talent of the business environment with nonprofit causes.
