Fox is Bullish on Comedy Series About FleetCenter Workers
"...Alex Finkelstein...now has the run of the FleetCenter. That's because the 29-year-old ex-venture capitalist just sold a sitcom to Fox-TV based on the arena's bull gang - the tough, buff guys and gals who lay down the parquet, uncover the ice, get the stage ready for rock stars and do all the grunt work for every event at the Fleet..."
"...After years of hounding and pavement pounding, Alex got in to see Hollywood honchos Tom Mazza and Jeffrey Kramer and they were both bullish on 'The Bull Gang.' Alex's new partners brought in a writer and last Thanksgiving, they made their pitch to the networks and Fox snapped up the show.
Finkelstein said his idea is to incorporate real-life FleetCenter stars like Paul Pierce, Joe Thornton, Steven Tyler, etc., into the show and Fox has OK'd shooting in Boston every four weeks. 'Right now, we're finishing the script for the pilot and hopefully we'll be shooting it in the spring......'"
