"Former President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, spoke at Snowbird Cliff Lodge on February 10, 2005.....The dinner and discussion were the beginning of The Carter Center Winter Weekend which is an annual fundraiser.....to advance peace and health worldwide.....Health and hunger in third world countries are a major concern for the Carter Center....."
"Silent and Live Auctions were part of the activities for the Winter Weekend.....Two guitars were up for auction. One called the Alvarez Hall of Fame guitar was signed by Aerosmith, David Bowie, Jackson Browne, Don Henley, Toby Keith, Steve Miller and Journey. The other called the Yamaha Hall of Fame Guitar was signed by Crosby, Stills and Nash, Heart, Willie Nelson and REM. The auctioneer's estimated the value of these at $1500 for the former and $1250 for the latter....."
