And so it begins. The longest two weeks in sports.
"Yep, it's one of those years, where the NFL season builds to a rousing crescendo with the conference title games and then has an interminable two-week intermission before the Super Bowl. Talk about losing the big mo......"

The longest day. It's bad enough that Sundays will soon be so relatively empty..... To get my mind off football, I'm going to download the Top 500 songs of all time according to Rolling Stone magazine.
My mind will no doubt wander back to football when the Eagles check in on the list at No. 49 (Hotel California) and No. 494 (Desperado).
Boston-bred Aerosmith comes in at No. 172 (Dream On), No. 336 (Walk This Way) and No. 408 (Sweet Emotion).
Who will have the final word in the Super Bowl? Well, song No. 500 on the Rolling Stone list is More Than a Feeling by Boston....."
